Hello!
I’m Michelle Mao, a senior BFA Graphic Design student at San Jose State University. I've always loved storytelling, whether through words or visuals. A well-crafted narrative leaves a lasting impact, which is what first drew me into graphic design. While many elements contribute to a strong design, a clear and compelling message is what resonates.
Through the BFA, I developed a passion for branding, motion design, and 3D modeling. Exploring these areas has deepened my understanding of design’s role in storytelling and its ability to connect with an audience. I look forward to applying what I’ve learned and continuing to push the boundaries of visual communication.
